Membership
Who Can Join?
Any person of any gender who is at least eighteen years old is eligible to join. Members do not have to be residents of Chelmsford and although we are known as the Chelmsford Women of Today, we welcome both men and women to our group.
Why Should I Join?
We are a non-profit group dedicated to community service, personal growth, and warm fellowship. We sponsor community events, raise funds for local causes/charities, offer educational seminars, organize social outings, present awards for outstanding member achievements, etc. So, if you want to make a difference in your neighborhood, improve yourself, make new friends, and have fun doing it, then you should consider joining our group!!
How Much Effort Is Involved Being A Member?
There are no mandatory activities. Participation in any program or project is up to each member. We offer choices, not obligations. However, we do suggest that new members participate in an Orientation seminar.
Are There Any Fees?
All members are required to pay yearly dues of $25. This membership fee is renewable each year on the anniversary date of joining.
How Do I Join?
We suggest you first attend one of our monthly public meetings and see if what we do is of interest. Our chapter meets at the main Chelmsford Public Library at 7 P.M. on the third Tuesday of each month from September to June (Directions to the library can be found on their Web Site). You can also contact us for more information.
