During a regular meeting of the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen on September 24, 2007 at the Chelmsford Town Hall, the Board delivered a proclamation that the week of September 24 - September 30 be declared "Women of Today Week". This was in recognition of our organization's contributions to the town. The proclamation was read by selectman Philip Eliopoulos and accepted by our chapter President, Helen Cloutier. Other Board members were present as well as the Town Manager, Paul Cohen.
