During a regular meeting of the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen on September 8, 2008 at the Chelmsford Town Hall, the Board delivered a proclamation that the week of September 21 - September 27 be declared "Women of Today Week". This was in recognition of our organization's contributions to the town. The proclamation was read by selectman Pat Wojtas and accepted by our chapter President, Kathy Simmons. Other Board members were present as well as the Town Manager, Paul Cohen.
