During a regular meeting of the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen on September 12, 2011 at the Chelmsford Town Hall, the Board delivered a proclamation that the week of September 18 - September 24 be declared "Women of Today Week". This was in recognition of our organization's contributions to the town.

Our Publicity Director, Sandy Frey, gave an overview of our chapter and upcomming events followed by selectman Matt Hanson reading the proclamation. Other Board members were present as well as the Town Manager, Paul Cohen.
