Focus on Women

What is it?

Focus on Women is a program sponsored by the United States Women of Today and is designed to inform, educate and update our members concerning a wide variety of topics.

Chapters can create programs, bring in speakers, give short presentations, etc. before, during, or after a meeting or other chapter function.  Public presentations can be given in the community on topics of general interest.  There is also a separate national essay contest.

The general topics that qualify under Focus on Women are:

• Health and Personal Concerns
• Women's Issues
• Careers and Economic
• American Involvement

• Public lecture on "Working with Courageous Kids " - Dealing with Domestic Violence
• CPR Courses
• Workshop on "You Can Fix It Too!!" - Doing your own Home Improvements
• Public Seminar on "Searching for that Perfect Job??"
