What are Educational Projects?

Educational projects are those held for our chapter and/or the general public to address topics of general interest

Examples of Some of Our Past Educational Projects:

  • Organized Baby Sitting Clinics for 5-7 graders
  • Sponsored CPR courses
  • Created Chelmsford High School Scholarships
  • Worked with elementary schools to teach fire safety ("Capt No Burn" – October Fire Prevention Month; grades 1-5; ran with fire Department)
  • Worked with elementary schools to teach Poison Prevention (Kindergarten)
  • Offered educational courses with low registration fees  (ie: "Buying & Selling on Ebay")
  • Sponsored free Public Lectures on a variety of topics such as:
    • Identity Theft
    • Digital Photography
    • Chelmsford's Natural Habitat
    • Financial Planning
    • Stress Management
    • Getting Motivated
    • Wellness
