What are Educational Projects?
Educational projects are those held for our chapter and/or the general public to address topics of general interest
Examples of Some of Our Past Educational Projects:
- Organized Baby Sitting Clinics for 5-7 graders
- Sponsored CPR courses
- Created Chelmsford High School Scholarships
- Worked with elementary schools to teach fire safety ("Capt No Burn" – October Fire Prevention Month; grades 1-5; ran with fire Department)
- Worked with elementary schools to teach Poison Prevention (Kindergarten)
- Offered educational courses with low registration fees (ie: "Buying & Selling on Ebay")
- Sponsored free Public Lectures on a variety of topics such as:
- Identity Theft
- Digital Photography
- Chelmsford's Natural Habitat
- Financial Planning
- Stress Management
- Getting Motivated
- Wellness
