What are Fundraising Projects?

Fundraising projects help to finance specific community projects or priority areas. Often, the means used to raise such funds can also provide a service to the community.

Examples of Some of Our Fundraisers:

• Beautiful Pet Contest - benefited animal shelters
• Kid's Flea Market
• April Vacation Kid's Fair (face painting, crafts, games, magic, theater, etc)
• Bake Sales
• Bowl-a-thon
• Muffins with Santa (kids/families eat and have a photo taken with Santa)
• Raffles (ie: team autographed Boston Bruins hockey stick and jersey)
• Ornament Workshop for Kids
• Traveling Trivia (automobile scavenger hunt for area landmarks)
• July 4 Parade Booth (with kid's games)
• Champaign Auction (formal dress evening charity auction with Champaign )
• Concessions on the Common (sell light food and drink at outdoor concerts)
• Yankee Candle Sales
• Chunky's Cinema Fundraiser - sell discounted movie tickets
• Papa Ginos Fundraiser - during a specified time, 20% of restaurant sales from guests showing an event flyer are donated to charity
