Who are we?
Easton Women of Today, Inc is a duly organized corporation with a 501(c)(3) status. It is one of seven local chapters in the Massachusetts Women of Today and one of over 200 chapters in United States Women of Today. We are a civic organization dedicated to serving the community and strengthening individual development.Our members come from many different backgrounds and have a variety of talents. Membership is open to any person 18 years of age or older. We began with 5 members in 1997 and today have almost 50 members.
Community Projects
Our goal is to offer community projects in education, fundraising, and service for people of all ages. Our fundraising efforts are strictly to promote social welfare, the advancement of education and to relieve the poor and distressed or the underprivileged.
Community projects and fundraising events have included:
- Freeze-pops at the summer races
- Food Drive for the Easton Food Pantry
- Holiday Festival Breakfast
- Annual Auction
- Yardley-Wood Rink Family Skating
- Senior Citizen craft activities
- Kids Art Contest
- Habitat for Humanity Luncheon
- Beautiful Baby Contest

Individual Development
EWOT offers opportunities for leadership training by encouraging members to accept positions as a local officer or project chairperson.
Our chapter also has access to programs developed by the United States Women of Today in the areas of effective writing, speaking, communication, and personal enrichment. In addition, we have occasional speakers at meetings. Past speakers have included:

Fun and Friendships
Membership in Women of Today offers the opportunity to develop close friendships with women who share similar interests and goals.
Socials and other fun filled events are held to encourage members to get to know each other, including:

- A Day of Shopping
- Wine Tasting

Meetings are usually held the fourth Thursday of each month at Stonehill CollegeCenter for Nonprofit Management at
16 Belmont Street, Easton.
Annual dues are $25 per member
