Purpose

The Greater Attleboro Women of Today was formed in January 2003. Since its inception, Greater Attleboro Women of Today has been active in the community on many different levels. It is one of seven chapters in the Massachusetts Women of Today organization, and one of 200 chapters in the United States Women of Today.

Membership

Membership is open to all persons at least 18 years of age. The United States Women of Today, our parent organization, has over 3600 members in 16 states nationwide.For further information please send enquiries to Elaine Tallini.

Activities

General

Internal: personal enrichment (effective speaking, effective writing), Focus on Women, Project Recognition, Team Building, Leadership Training, and S.T.E.P. (Success Through Enthusiastic Participation).

External: external programs are supported at the state and national levels through the Massachusetts Women of Today and the United States Women of Today, on a rotational/bid basis. Currently we support:.

Our local activities include fund-raising and other efforts in support of local charities and non-profit organizations. Click here for more information

Meetings

Greater Attleboro Women of Today General Meetings are open to all and are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. at Canterbury Woods, 100 Garfield Avenue, Attleboro.

At these meetings events and activities are scheduled and planned by the Chapter.

National meetings are held twice a year, a mid-year meeting in October and a year-end meeting in June. State Meetings are also held three times a year.
