Purpose

As the local chapter of the Massachusetts Women of Today, our purpose is to contribute to the betterment of our community while providing leadership training and personal enrichment for our members.

We, the United States Women of Today,
are dedicated to serving our communities and nation,
are committed to strengthening our individual talents,
and stand united by our friendship and belief in the future.

Membership

Membership is open to all persons at least 18 years of age. The United States Women of Today, our parent organization, has over 3600 members in 16 states nationwide.For further information please send enquiries to Ellie Lea or Ellen McGowan.

Activities

General

Internal: personal enrichment (effective speaking, effective writing), Focus on Women, Project Recognition, Team Building, Leadership Training, and S.T.E.P. (Success Through Enthusiastic Participation).

External: external programs are supported at the state and national levels through the Massachusetts Women of Today and the United States Women of Today, on a rotational/bid basis. Currently we support:.

Meetings

Mansfield Women of Today General Meetings are open to all and are held at 7:30pm on the third (holidays excepted) Monday of each month at the Edgewood Church of Christ on S. Main Street in Mansfield.

Numerous other events and activities are scheduled and run by the Chapter.

National meetings are held twice a year, a mid-year meeting in October and a year-end meeting in June. State Meetings are also held three times a year.
